Binary movement - 3

Something interesting happened. You both had a choice and opened this page in a new tab. Movement is no longer binary. You are in a quantum state -- you can go back, change tabs, or display tabs next to each other. This is just a small example how moving through digital space with hypertext is not wholly binary. Tools such as Twine or Javascript can also allow text to be revealed, hidden, or changed, all with links.

Another note: binary movement is not necessarily bad. After all, books are binary -- page flipped or not.
